Fake Meeting Request Demonstration

Criminal hackers are constantly updating their phishing attacks with new spins. A good example is phishing that uses virtual meeting invitations. Since attending virtual meetings has become the norm for many organizations, you need to be very cautious when being asked to click, even if it is a simple meeting invite. In the following demonstration, Kevin Mitnick will show how a bad actor can use an “update” to a platform such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom to trick someone into unknowingly installing malicious software.
